Moo-ving Into Fall with Crossroads Beef
Greetings Friends,
As fall settles in at Crossroads Beef, we wanted to share a quick update from the ranch. It’s been an exciting season, and we’re happy to keep you in the loop. Thank you for being part of our journey! We’ll keep the updates coming as we head into winter. Until then, stay cozy and enjoy the season.

A SEASON OF EXTREMES
Spring was like a monsoon, and our pastures were lush and green. Late summer? Not so much. It barely rained until this month when we finally got a glorious inch. The cattle didn’t mind one bit; just grazing, chilling, and living the good life. As they say, happy cows = better beef. It’s a simple equation.
NEW SEASONS, NEW PASTURES
The cooler weather means our cattle are enjoying their favorite fall snack: cool-season grasses. These hearty grasses are nutrient rich, a five-star meal for the cattle, fueling them with the best nature has to offer. It’s all part of giving them the best year-round, and it shows in the flavor. We’ve also prepped our busy bees for winter, making sure they’re ready to hunker down for the colder months ahead. They play a crucial role in grass-fed life, but that’s a story for another day.
LOOKING AHEAD TO HARVEST TIME

Our cattle are taking their sweet time, and so are we. We’re aiming for an early February 2025 launch for our updated website. We’ll shout out to you when it’s time for you to order your beef and have it shipped to your door. No wrangling required.
BEEF UP YOUR RECIPE BOX

As the temperature drops, we're all about cozy, comforting meals. Beef & Noodles is the ultimate fall dish, and one of our favorites when our family gathers. If you’re too busy to make noodles from scratch (we get it), frozen egg noodles are a great shortcut. It’s like homemade, but without the sweat and flour everywhere. Click here for the recipe.
